St. Anne Catholic Church, Lansing, TN

For St. Anne Catholic Church in Lansing, Tennessee, we were asked to design, fabricate and install four windows that were (5 feet wide and 4 feet tall) for their sanctuary. The church sits in a beautiful wooded area. They did not want to block that natural beauty. We were asked to design something that was light and airy. We were also asked to design and weld a rubric and tabernacle that would compliment the windows. They wanted the stained glass angels to look as if they were presenting the tabernacle to the church. The Tabernacle sits directly in front of this window. They wanted the viewer’s eyes to focus on the Tabernacle. So we used a more opalescent glass in the rays to block the light. The tabernacle has a light in the top which streams golden rays out from it. There is a door that can be opened with a key. Both the tabernacle and the rubric had to be mounted on the wall and not be a trip hazard.

For the donor’s convenience, we took many in progress photos and E-Mailed the photos to the donor. That way the donor knew the status of his windows during the process. The donor could also give his approval or even request changes along the way. Below you will see a sampling of the in progress photos.
